I hate grout! We are preparing our house for sale and bought two of these along with Black Diamond grout cleaner to clean dull looking grout in three bathrooms. When the reality of two sixty year olds doing all this work on their knees hit us, we hired a cleaning company. They tried using their steam cleaner but it didn't work and the truck the hose was connected to was blowing so much exhaust gas into the house I couldn't breathe (I have asthma). I asked her to try Black Diamond brushes and grout cleaner. They had excellent results on 18 year old grout that was only cleaned when I mopped the bathroom floor. Also, it was clean white grout alongside white tile (our new home will have tinted grout in all bathrooms). I cleaned a spot on the kitchen apron and it will take some effort - I'm not in the best shape - and some time. It also works best if you let the cleaner sit for a few minutes before brushing. If the folks at Fuginator could make a long handle for this brush, anyone could use it on tile floors on a regular basis. Best Solution: Use tinted grout when laying tiles. Our builder would only do this in the closet of our current home. This grout is medium gray in color and looks good without special cleaning.
