Nice looking but inaccurate. I bought this hour meter to install on a boat that has 139 hours. I connected the gauge directly to a 12 volt battery (on the charger) for 139 hours before installing it on my boat's dashboard. I noticed that this counter drifts by -11 minutes every 24 hours. That's -45 minutes in 100 hours. This is disappointing as I bought a $15 mechanical quartz watch with an accuracy of a few minutes per year. I have tried this and two similar devices from another seller with the same results. If you need accuracy, keep looking. If you're good at counting hours, this hour counter is for you.
