Affordable Apple Pencil alternative - with some caveats

I ordered this to try as a cheap alternative to the much more expensive Apple Pencil (Gen2) for use with my iPad Pro 11 (2020 model). I also bought a tempered glass screen protector "just in case" - mainly to make sure I don't scratch my new iPad's screen with the stylus. I've tried this stylus both before and after putting the screen protector on and haven't noticed any difference in accuracy or performance with or without the screen protector on the device. It seems pretty accurate in terms of location (the location of the tip versus the markings on it). Screen). Drawing lines/circles/shapes works well, but I find handwriting a bit difficult. I have to be VERY conscious when lifting the stylus off the screen between letters, otherwise I tend to get marks connecting them (something like cursive). Drawing dotted lines is also difficult because the dots tend to connect. This pen is NOT pressure sensitive, but I knew it was. To achieve this, you'll largely need to invest in an Apple Pencil (there may be some other pressure-sensitive styluses out there, but from what I've read it's generally a mixed bag - some apps support them and some don't. I personally have Haven't used an Apple Pencil yet, but I strongly suspect the pressure sensitivity will help me blend handwritten letters and draw dotted/dashed lines to save them If I didn't have a case, this pen has a magnetic attachment on the side of the iPad, but does not charge wirelessly. It includes a USB cable with a very small proprietary barrel connector that plugs into the end of the stylus. I would prefer a micro USB or USB-C connector so I don't fully explore my capability I can understand that larger USB ports would make the pen bulkier. One thing I noticed is that the body of the pen is ver Staining is Small brownish line where my suitcase's hinged lid touches it when closed (see photo). a photo). I'm not sure if it's the case or the stylus itself, but it's a little unsightly. All in all, if you don't mind the lack of pressure sensitivity and want a look that mimics an Apple Pencil, this could be the ticket for you!
