You can buy cheaper cases BUT NOT better cases, I think the hinge of this case is paramount. Why do you ask . because there is no shelf in the sports hall showers. So when I use soap I just "fuck" the cover at the top of the shower curtain. The latch also makes a very nice click when properly engaged. Leaving the case closed BUT NOT locked is a great way to VENTILATE the soap inside, just for me. I really prefer to have DRY soap next time I use a bar of soap rather than a wet, slippery bar of soap. This is NOT my first purchase of these cases.
