I bought a jacket with fur around the hood. It's perfect for a child to carry in a car seat because it's so soft and comfortable and won't overheat the baby. Although the body is made of fleece and the sleeves are made of cotton, it is very light. That doesn't mean it's not warm, but you don't want your child going outside and playing with it in the snow. This is a great winter coat for commuting to and from the shop and short walks depending on the temperature.
