I love this waffle maker. I'm the only one who eats waffles in the house so the size is perfect for me. For the Belgian waffles recipe I used, I only needed 2-3 tablespoons of batter to make the waffles. Any more than 2-3 tablespoons and the batter will drip down the sides as it bakes. Three waffles and I'm full. My advice would be to cook the waffles well where the center isn't mushy, wait for the light to come on and pour in the batter, then wait for 3 light cycles to go through and the Alta waffles are delicious.
