1) When overclocking the processor, you can achieve many times greater values when passing the same tests in CN 15, CPU-Z, in other words, it works with a bang in counting and rendering, but all this comes to naught, at a processor temperature of 70-80 degrees , when running under a custom liquid cooling system 2) When overclocking the processor to 4.4, it asks for 1.430-1.450v in my case, everything seems to be fine, but in this situation I saw no reason to change my 2700x to this processor, there is more stability, but the constant howl of CO has already begun to strain me in order, although the processor is running at stock frequencies and its boost is 4.4 GHz in idle! However, when all 8 cores are loaded, it starts dropping frequencies to 4.2, and even now, when working in MS Office, it works at 50-60 degrees, the same comparison can be made at 2700x, which rarely worked above 30-35 degrees with the same work. When trying to manually set the frequency to 4.5, it passed only 1 stress test, then the processor turned off due to overheating. Because of what, it remains a mystery to me, because there was plenty of cooling for it, xeon 1680v2 at 4.7, i7 3930k at 4.9 felt good under this cooling, both with a voltage of 1.460-1.510, amd ryzen zen + series processors (2700/2700x), could not really warm up to 75, while the vrm of the motherboard was under 90 (in connection with this, ek crosshair was bought for the stand), this processor cannot heat vrm, but it heats up like crazy. In conclusion, I want to say the following: This processor needs to be brought to mind, because the current temperatures and frequencies in boost mode leave much to be desired The processor was tested on an ASUS Crosshair vi hero motherboard with BIOS versions 7306 and 7403, in both cases the processor was warming up like crazy. When testing, we used: Bykski water block and EK ASUS C6H Monoblock. The temperatures were monitored through the HWMonitor & Aida64 programs, the readings had a spread of 1-2 degrees among themselves.
