I was trying to find information on these lights (and others made by Partsam) to see if they were waterproof. I couldn't figure it out so I bought them hoping they were there as they were meant to be trailer mounted. When I received them I saw that the spot where the wires enter the back of the lights wasn't sealed in any way so I decided everything was fine when tested. I put one in a bowl of water and let it sit for about an hour and unfortunately the water got into the LED lighting area. I could try to seal and retest them myself, but I generally think that if you need waterproof lights (e.g. for a boat trailer) you should buy one that at least claims to be waterproof. The seller didn't claim this was the case, so I'm not criticizing him - I'm just providing information about my findings so others can make their own decision. Update: Haven't used them yet but installed them on a new trailer. Most marker lights appear to be sealed at the cable entry point, but some are missing "glue" or something around the cable. The taillights didn't have them, so I added some sealant. Hopefully they work well once submerged.
