I drove purposefully behind the beyerdynamic dt 770 pro. I went after reading reviews on various resources about how good they are and how all the studios work with them, and so on. I came, I listened. and I wasn't impressed! I just didn't feel any emotion. I listened to Audio equipment at the same price, some other buyers, senheiser. Everything is not right. And just for the sake of comparison, he asked the manager to bring any model a little more expensive. He brings me this miracle (Meze), I have never heard of such a company. I turn it on and for 15 minutes I just hung, "stuck" if you like, I caught myself thinking that I listened to the entire test track list in the store! I just enjoyed the sound, enjoyed the music! I listened again to the 770 buyers, for comparison I asked for a Sennheiser from a much higher price category, and in the end I bought Meze. I am not a music lover, much less an audiophile, I write in my own words. The sound of Meze is very lively, bright sounding, the bass is cool (not booming, as someone has already said), "elastic". Instruments are clearly audible. Maybe it goes against the concept of "pure studio sound", but I don't work in the studio, I don't mix music, and from my point of view Meze just sound great! I have wireless Bowers & Wilkins PX, which are considered not the worst representatives of their class, and so the Fiio K3 + Meze 99 bundle does them in all respects. And it costs +/- the same. Don't blindly trust reviews, brands, or the opinions of others. Come to the shops and listen with YOUR EARS! What many people like in sound may not suit you! Don't forget a good source. I chose Fiio K3 as the minimum and optimal option for a beginner (from my point of view). I repeat, in the end I am very pleased with the sound. Don't think your PC's built-in sound card will open those ears.
