They need to be trimmed to fit properly; wrong fasteners.
Worked after trimming the corners to fit the factory hole in the dashboard. Fits the radio well but doesn't have the exact shape of the dash hole, again had to use a dremel to make them fit. The factory screws are too short to attach these pieces and properly secure them to the deck and I didn't want to mess up the screw holes on the new stereo with the sheet metal screws included in this kit. I also had to go to the hardware store and get longer screws.
