I have very sensitive eyes, so I always take into account that I am a special case when evaluating. That made my eyes water. I don't drop stars because of this. Especially the glitter, yes I agree with other reviewers it gets heavy which is great for my daughter's tall looks. I found it was smooth when applying shine and blended fairly well compared to others I've tried. Removing glitter from your face is always a pain. I use makeup remover and a baby washcloth, then hop in the shower to wipe away the residue. Even in this case, glitter may remain. They're not the most pigmented I've ever used, but they stay right where I put them when I applied them. I used the brush method and had no problem getting enough paint and keeping it in place. The makeup guru's daughter is giving it four stars because it's not that bad for the price. The glitter itself will surprise many people who have tried glitter eyeshadow and the top coat is just glitter. It's all shine to the core. She thinks this is a great starter kit for those learning to work with bolder colors as you can lighten or darken them depending on your technique.
