Review on πŸ₯Ύ Kamik Rocket Cold Weather Boot (Infant/Toddler/Youth) by Brian Kingsford

A tie at the top collar makes it easy to put on or under the leg

The fabric of the upper itself is waterproof, but the seam where it connects to the waterproof rubber sole is not waterproof. I will be returning them for another model from the same brand with a "watertight seam". I should have read more carefully. It's a well thought out design that feels extremely solid. The removable liner is convenient to adjust to the child's leg and to dry wet boots. It won't come out accidentally when the child just slides the foot in and out. The cinch at the top collar makes it easy to slide the leg over or under. We had a second problem when they were too tight for my child. We sometimes buy her wide pants, that will be the next pair we get from Kamik. They work with thin socks, which is fine as they look so warm on their own. But with the water problem and the landing problem, it's just not worth the hassle. Overall this seems like a good product if your puddles are no deeper than 2 inches. The "waterproof" upper is great for shedding snow, but doesn't hold up in very deep puddles. Try talking about it with a 2 year old! if your puddles are no deeper than 2 inches.
