This is a really high quality machine. The price I paid almost reflected that quality, but I realized it when an incredible deal was afoot. The m3 processor has more than enough power to handle the common tasks that everyone does on the internet as well as any productive work that is required in the workplace. My wife is a teacher and this device was purchased for her so most of the reviews are from what she said while using it. First, let's talk about the display. It's a really nice display with fairly accurate colors. It gets slightly oversaturated in some situations and undersaturated in others, resulting in an uncomfortable impression against darker movies or websites. But it's only noticeable when objects are moving (or when you're scrolling) and the screen is busy. It gets bright enough for most situations, and with the previous Pro model, I wondered why it got so bright. Looking at reviews it seemed like you almost don't need to use a lamp to light up a room. Simply fold the display face up and turn it on. This should be enough to light up the entire bedroom. Second is the quality of the material. The device looks like polished aluminum or some other metallic material with some plastic in places. That's about right for the price, as you can easily spend $900+ even with the best quality of materials. The keyboard feels fantastic and the touchscreen hasn't caused a single bug after about 2 months of use. Third, let's talk about functionality. And before we start, let's remember that this is a Chromebook. It was not purchased to play the latest games or sync with Microsoft or Apple services. This is a Samsung product running the Google operating system, which means that it is designed to work with Google services. However, it works great with Google Drive (word processor, spreadsheets, etc.). This element is used almost exclusively for lesson planning, grading, research, and other tasks that a teacher needs to perform. He's perfect for that. The only real issues we had were poor web design and lack of websites that switched to HTML5 instead of Flash. All in all, if you want Google Pixelbook performance and similar features, you won't be disappointed. If you're looking to gift a loved one a computer that will allow them to really use the Internet without worrying too much about viruses, then you're making a good purchase. If you're looking for a laptop that can run Android apps without too much "bouncing", then make a good buy. If you're looking for a computer that can run Photoshop, play 4K videos, or whatever, you're better off looking at other products.
