Review on 👟 Merrell Women's Trail Sneaker Paloma Shoes by Ashley Rogers

I really like the shoes! I wear 9.5-10 depending on the type of shoes and where I buy them. I originally bought 10 but they were too big so I had to return them which was pretty easy except I had to drive 20 minutes. to a UPS store or pay for shipping. My return came very quickly and I got a 9.5 which is great. There's still some room at the toe, but it allows you to put on a pair of socks, so it's ok. The reason I got minimalist walking shoes was not to feel barefoot but to have light shoes so I also added an insole because I had plantar fasciitis for a while because walking was extremely painful. I walk up to 10 miles a few times a week so it sucks. As soon as I put them on the pain was almost gone and the pads made it even better. This is awesome as I absolutely can't stop hiking! I often walk on partly gravel, rough trails with lots of tree roots etc. and have felt everything through other soles that were much thicker/heavier. I don't feel anything for them! I could do without the width M, but I didn't realize that I was buying exactly this. I'm not sure if there is an option other than M. But it's ok, they just tangle a bit when I tighten the laces because I don't like walking around in shoes with loose laces. The material is thin and they are VERY light which I like. I would suggest socks that cover your ankles because I wore low ankle socks and the tongue and ankle material cut into my skin, but I tied them on the tighter side. As said, the material is thin and I hope they will stand up to a lot of use. The sole is thicker without the weight and bulkiness of regular running shoes. To be honest when I wore them it seemed like there was nothing on my legs! Note that these shoes have a distinctive arch. I have fairly flat feet, but the arch doesn't bother me. I have read reviews where others have complained about it. Like I said, these shoes gave me instant relief from my plantar pain, so maybe the arch helped? Anyway, I love these shoes! I just wish the price wasn't higher for different colors. I can pay extra for a color other than black but not sure. Overall I am very happy with the purchase!
