The placement got lots of light so they stayed on for several hours each night (except for rainy days, of course). They’ve been exposed to rain, ice, and heat but keep working. I bought these lights in November 2017 to put out at our front gate. I put them out for christmas 2017 and took them down 1/1/18. I packed them in a plastic box in a closet inside our house. 2018 was very cold and I was sick so I did not put them out. This product is awesome. I put the white version around my pergola as well as in my mulch, the multi colored one on my wreath and the soft white I put it on my Deer since it's lights are out. I receievd tons of compliment and it is still working dispite of the Colorado weather. My favorite part is it is solar, has different mode and bright. Pretty nice lights for the money, user beware however, do charge for a day before using . . . as instructed. Once I got that little detail out of the way they worked like a charm. Turn on at dusk, off at dawn . it's February now which means an average of 12 hours a day run time. These little lights are awesome! They charge well, and are quite bright (the white is a cool white), but every time it rains at night they turn right off. They light the next evening at dusk, but simply turn off in the rain. Weird!

Bought 4, set them up in my backyard on Saturday. Today is Monday. Last night all 4 worked, but during the night one set was no longer lit. I put these on a little tree by the street during the holidays. I had no idea there were so many different settings! You can set them to be on all the time or many variations of flashing or twinkling. They worked really well even through many heavy rain storms. The only thing to be careful about is putting the solar panel so it gets lots of daylight, but also isn't hit by passing headlights or street lights. Several years ago I purchased 6 of these to use on experior evergreen trees. They performed very well summer and winter. Two required battery replacement (rechargable).an easy task. One week ago (November 2022) I received the latest purchase of these Solar Powered light. Much to my dissapointment they did not hold a charge no mater how long they were exposed to direct sunlight. I could have tried replacing the batteries, but decided I should not have to do so right out of the box.

If you are looking to light 72’, this is not what you need. It probably does have the 200 led bulbs per string, but I measured my lights after hanging and only have 60’ 5” of lighted length. There was so much plain wire it get you from the solar panel to where you want to hang your lights that it made me wonder. I didn’t t need a certain length to be lit, but do feel this is misleading. It says Halloween lights but I used them for my tree trunk at Christmas. They were SO easy to set up! The directions say they might not be bright or turn on if it’s a cloudier day. They always turn on at dusk and have a wonderful brightness. I had them inside all day before I put them outside and they still lit up with only 1 hour of sunlight. Will be buying more for sure!

These are really bright they shipped fast and were in great Condition. I was hoping for a slower more twinkle setting that was more relaxing. Instead the slowest setting is very close to a disco as my husband says. We will probably leave them on solid Bc of that. Overall they are good lights.

I purchased some last year, and some more this year. The ones from last year are still working well. I read other reviews that sometimes the rain can affect the solar panel, so I placed my panels in a way that the rain and moisture would be at a minimum near my gazebo. For some units in my yard, I covered the solar panel with a plastic baggie, and secured it near the bottom so that the direct rain would not hit the panel. We replaced some older lights that had been on the deck for years. They were okay but were the warm white. These we just purchased are the whiter version and just add a nice soft touch to the deck.

They were very pretty for 4th of July outdoor decor. I just threw them on a hedge and stuck the Solar panel nearby. I like the twinkling function and that there were many to choose from. And since it’s summer and we get lots of light, they were on, quite a bit. This was also one of the best prices I found and had a long strand of lights.

I saw these in my friends yard and when she told me they were solar I knew I had to have them!
