First the mounting plate D was coated on the screw hole threads with something very thick which covered the threads making it very difficult to install the screws. Luckily I had several professional hex wrenches to thread the bolts with, as the included hex wrench would have removed the bolt head. I haven't tried using a solvent to clean the threads of dirt, but it may have worked. Second, the product description states that each arm can support up to 17.6 pounds. I installed two monitors, one weighing 11.5 pounds and the other 13.5 pounds. There are three pivot points on the mounting arms, and after all three points were tightened very firmly, the smaller monitor held in place, but the larger one, still under its advertised weight limit, fell off no matter how hard I tightened the hinge screw. For some reason I initially gave this product three stars and was planning to design a mount to support a large monitor and then I wondered why I should do that. I am returning this product and have ordered a different model.
