People who say it runs small are used to shopping in stores that stock smaller quantities of clothing (old navy/gap). It is true to size. I was worried it would be too small as I'm quite broad in the shoulders and reading the reviews. I'm 5-6" tall, 145#, pant size 27-28 and I bought a small and a long sleeve shirt fits easily underneath. White is actually ivory but still very cute. Perfect little jacket.
