I think I bought this to pull up the elastic on hand knit hats. I've since learned that it's more efficient to knit them with good quality yarn and the right size for your head size. To tighten the elastic, thread the yarn needle as if collecting parallel rows. Be sure to take the amount of slack as well. Another use is beaded bracelets. Just put it on your heads and tie a knot, glue the glasses. At the extreme, I thought it was an earpiece of homemade masks. That would be twice as much. But covered elastic cord is much better. This spool has many uses, is a bargain and belongs to any crafter's treasure trove of rarely used but beautiful details.
