At first glance, this jug made a high-quality and durable impression. The lid will not "snap" in place unless you twist it, but if you twist it too hard the lid will crack or crack and you won't be able to snap it back in place. About 35 days after receipt I have to report with regret that the handle broke while carrying it back to the fridge, the jug fell and spilled all over the floor. The returns window is now closed. Summary: This is NOT a good quality pitcher that will last. Rather spend a little more and buy a higher quality glass or jug.
