Review on Dockem IPhone X/XS Wallet Case: Built-In Metal Plate For Magnetic Mounting &Amp Cell Phones & Accessories by Jeremy Carpenter

My iPhone X is a year old and I bought 5 different cases. I never used 2 cases because I just liked 3 more and this case is one of them. In comparison, the other two cases I liked were Patchworks Flexguard and Rinke Onyx. I wanted a case that could hold 1 or 2 credit cards and the previous version of this case got great reviews. I liked this version even better because it also has a built-in metal plate so I can use the magnetic phone mount at the same time. I received the gray case and the material offers a good grip. I've had soft silicone cases that have held up great, but then the case kept showing dust no matter how many times I cleaned it. This case offers just the right amount of grip so it won't snag even when you take your phone out of your pocket. The phone also offers easy access to the Lightning port and all buttons are responsive. However, I wish there was a little more protection on the underside, which is fully open. If you drop your phone on a smooth, flat surface it's probably fine, but if you drop your phone on cement or rough asphalt there's a high chance of scratching the underside. A few minor issues keep me from giving it. 5 star rating. 1) The camera cutout is slightly off-center. If that was the only issue I would still give a 5 star rating. 2) The lower left lip is not high enough to protect the screen when the phone is placed face down. I have a screen protector on my phone and without it I think the case would be fine. The fact that the lip on the rest of the phone seems fine with the screen protector would be an easy fix I think.
