I like these. The thread is 8mm x 1.25 but for my application it didn't matter. I actually installed them on my bike with handlebar clamp mounts so I can use either nut. A common problem I have with bike mirrors is that most of them are flat making them impossible to use while riding as they wobble. with all my might They're convex, which increases the field of view, and the wobble isn't as noticeable. The curvature on them is actually pretty good - it's enough to see more than with flat mirrors, but it doesn't make objects super small. The ball joint is also firmer than my other bike mirrors, which prevents them from self-adjusting when I'm riding over uneven ground. But for turns they're pretty good as you can clearly see what's left/right.
