Good medium weight chipboard. In fact, its thickness is 0.057 inches (1.45 mm). For reference, a penny is 0.061 inches (1.55mm) thick. It is white on one side and made of kraft paper, so you can use any side. Most chipboard of this color is only painted on one side. I also cut them up and use the paper-wrapped smaller pieces as mini bowls for small, light snacks. Good for this application too. At the time of purchase I paid $17.78 which is still a good deal compared to my local craft store which charges around $1 each. I see it has now been cut to $11.28 which is a definite deal. that I buy an additional package at this price. I've used it on my Cricut die-cut machine with a new deep-cut knife with no problems. I used the following Provo Craft recommended settings. Provo Craft states: m chipboard (0.059 inch / 1.50 mm thick) with recommended settings: Speed 3 (Medium) Pressure 4 (High) Depth 6 Multicut 5 Just started inking it to create book covers and Using collage works well.
