Waterproof and roomy but poor weight distribution and HEAVY

PRO: 1) This bag kept all my stuff dry during an outdoor photo shoot in the Revane rainforest 2) This 55ml bag was acceptable international transport in baggage, both within the United States and on international flights to Peru via El Salvador, as well as on flights within Peru. It was great not checking the bag. CONS: 1) The weight distribution of this bag is terrible - I was hoping the weight would rest on my hips like high end bags, but the entire weight of the bag hung off my shoulders for the entire 2 week hike. Because I was using it as the only piece of luggage (I didn't check my bag in), the bag was heavy and my back was a mess after wearing this thing (it took me multiple visits to the chiropractor and massages when I got home). I would like to try an improved weight distribution bag from this company as the bag was excellent in terms of water resistance and durability. I only recommend this if you pack light or use it as a daypack. I don't think I'd buy the 55ml but the 35ml as an afterthought and only use it for day trips (it would have probably been better to check the bags given how uncomfortable this bag was on my shoulders). 2) Which brings me to the second negative: The bag itself was HEAVY. Once I started packing in things like a camera/binoculars and daily wildlife viewing essentials, it got so heavy so quickly. And when I was packing for my flights within Peru, it ended up being unbearable as all my belongings were in there. I wanted it to be lighter or have wheels. It was difficult to carry from airport to airport, bus and Revain boats.
