Well built, although not in the right place. Pretty solid setup, with decent quality hardware and wood, but overall it doesn't hold onto anything I'm working on terribly. I usually work with layers less than half an inch wide and find it difficult to get my job done while sewing. Even when I use leather scraps to fill in the space between my project pieces and the clamp arms, I still experience quite a bit of wobbling and stretching when sewing. This means that adjustments have to be made from time to time during the sewing process. Decent for the price but wish I'd spent a little more for something with narrower aisles.
