How do you open to clean

Received 6 of these today but I'm concerned about the sign saying a fire could start if you don't clean the rubbish regularly but it doesn't give any instructions how to open the package and i tried to open it with a knife but i was afraid of breaking the panel. Hoping someone knows how to open them?
