Loved the design of the lid which allows you to close the spout to keep the coffee hot and it stays really hot. The only thing that could make the lid look better is the engraved notch that allows you to visually align the hole with the spout. I also liked the large capacity - more relaxing, less refills and handy when we have company. I liked that there is no plastic anywhere - well made, solid design. Also included were two additional screens to replace the grille. The price is exceptional considering less well designed plastic coffee pots cost 2-3x the price, with less capacity and no spout stopper to keep your coffee hot. It's also very aesthetically pleasing - a sleek, modern look. The only minor thing though - be careful when pouring - I'm not sure if that's the increased capacity and need to fine-tune our muscle memory when pouring, but drips do sometimes occur. Overall, this is a great replacement for my old insulated Starbucks press that lasted 17 years. If you love french press coffee and serve more than one person or are looking for a great gift for the coffee lover in your life, this coffee pot is for you.
