Review on 🐾 Pet Bed Snuggle Safe Microwave Heating Pad by Abby Libbett

This product is not safe

This product is not safe. I bought 2 of these items at a time for my outdoor pets because it should be safer than using a heating pad or heat lamp that plugs into an outlet. Both of my microwave ovens are 650W and according to the instructions they should only heat for 8 minutes. We put the first microwave pane in the microwave without a fleece cover. It was only in the microwave for 5 minutes and literally exploded with boiling hot liquid and the pink plastic disc melted at the bottom of the microwave. It ignited the microwave and set off the fire alarm. I had to open the microwave to stop a possible fire as the liquid explosion appeared to have shorted out my microwave. All the hot liquid naturally squirted out, splashing me and the stove below. I'm burned out I had to use a spatula to remove the pink disc, a bunch of paper towels, and a spatula to get the liquid off everything. And note, as the "liquid" cools, it turns into a solid gel that needs to be cleaned of everything. I take photos. He dissolved in the trash can, stunk around the house, ruined the microwave and stove. I contacted the manufacturer via email and they never responded. By the way, they are in England. I've flagged the emails so I know you're reading them. After a week I put up with it, paid a fortune to call them, called them and told them what had happened. First they said I must have used it wrong. They said I must have put it in too long. I said no. They then said that I must have reused it and didn't give it time to cool down. I said NO, it was the FIRST time we used it. Then they said there must be something wrong with my microwave. After some discussion they said maybe ONE item was defective because I bought TWO at the time and we were STILL using the other with no problems. The manufacturer didn't do anything to replace the microwave or whatever damaged the hard drive and they were far from friendly. Two weeks later, the second vault was doing exactly the same as the first. Literally the same problem. The item was completely cold when we let it run for 12 hours before heating it up again due to paranoia about what happened to the other hard drive last time. It was only in the microwave for 4 minutes and according to the instructions this microwave was safe to heat an item for 8 minutes. It didn't even take that long. And just so you know, we used a brand new microwave since the first one was completely destroyed by another safe. The manufacturer didn't respond to an email so I called again. I wasn't treated well. I was told we must have overheated it or there was a problem with my microwave etc. I explained it to them well at first, although we were stupid and overheated it the first time (which of course we didn't) would we do it don't be stupid enough to do it the SECOND TIME. And it was a new microwave. Both microwaves are fine. The safe is out of order. I checked everything that happened. I was obsessed. The manufacturer, or at least the lady in charge, made no effort to fix the problem. They didn't apologize for my destroyed microwave, burns from trying to clean the liquid and fire from shorting out the microwave, bad smell in the house, cleaning times, melted trash can etc etc. If you look at the pictures you will see, how the pane at the bottom of the microwave flattens and melts and all these shiny things are hot liquids dripping all over the place. The dried scaly substance has dripped onto the plate and as it dries it becomes hard and sticky and is VERY difficult to remove.
