They are great and do what they were designed to do, which is to keep a curious child from getting into your closets. They're cheap and hold up well. I can take them off and put them back in immediately, although my mother and wife sometimes have problems. I don't think the problem is with the locks themselves, but with the way they do it. So I think it's a user error. The only downside to this and other similar locks is that your stuff is safe in the drawer, but the doors probably aren't. My baby pulls them back and forth. Even when they're tight, they have some play and he hits them pretty well. None of my closet doors or locks broke, but he tightened them properly before I could run upstairs and divert his attention elsewhere. Also my baby; who is 18 months old has already figured out how they work but still lacks the dexterity and finger strength to unlock them. I might have to revisit these locks later, but for now they're easy and will get the job done. I recommend and would buy again.
