Maybe I am too, but I don't shave as well with these blades as I used to. I have already said that Mach III is one of the best shaving products on the market. Gillette can sacrifice quality to keep costs down to compete with many up-and-coming razor brands, or try to trash the Mach III so customers will switch to theirs. 5-blade models that clog with hair and have a terrible design. It doesn't matter, but what matters is that they don't do what they're supposed to, which is a good shave without irritation. if I don't shave against the grain (very bad idea, especially on the neck), there are hairs that are almost impossible to cut because they are so close to the skin, and if I shave against the grain, ingrown hairs that are painful and are unsightly and take time to heal are virtually guaranteed, although I can quickly remove the stuck hairs growing under the skin. I think these razors are good for general cleaning in a hurry and shaving other parts of the body, but I highly recommend getting a Mercur double-blade safety razor paired with spring blades for regular beard shaving. It costs a little more, but pays for itself over time, providing a better shave without the need for a shaving brush or shaving soap, plus the following benefits: Eco-friendly Cheaper Less or no ingrown hairs Ideal for sensitive skin Pen blades are insanely sharp and comfortable and require no re-shaving Movements to cut your hair. Don't be a wuss - take my advice and try an old-style double-blade safety razor (Mercur in particular). You will not regret it.
