I bought 5 of these cameras 14 months ago to use as trail cameras in East Texas. 3 still work. These cameras produce great daytime shots and video, but night shots are often grainy and streaky. The battery life is excellent. I turn on the detector low after trying high and medium only to find the wind blowing grass triggers the cameras. They're easy to set up and use, but I've used various trail cameras for many years. I will not buy these again for two reasons. First, it's their design. They are NOT rainproof. They leak, fog up, short out and the batteries burn out. The second reason is customer service. I sent an email requesting repair information before I realized the warranty had expired. Bad, but in doing so I discovered that the service was outsourced to someone with cryptic English. After requesting a repair process for the two missing ones, I received this response; "I'm really sorry and could you please tell me they can't all work." Bottom line: if you're going to view something with the camera, keep the camera covered and avoid direct contact with the rain.
