The fans shown here are physically identical to the stock fans that originally came with my GS63VR 6RF. Installation wasn't the easiest process in the world, but it has more to do with the design of the laptop than the parts themselves. I bought this to replace a noisy CPU fan and decided to replace the GPU fan, while I was there. My stock fans maxed out at 5400 RPM when I enabled Cooler Boost in Dragon Center and those fans can be controlled normally there and speeds come back. , but they top out at 4600 rpm. I use this laptop primarily for software and database work, so I rarely stress the cooling system (I also re-glued while I was there, but I have to say the factory work didn't look too bad ), but apart from some losses of speeds. All in all, they work great after two weeks and the laptop is again almost silent in operation.
