Review on ๐Ÿšฎ simplehuman 4.5L / 1.2 Gallon Round Bathroom Step Trash Can: Brushed Stainless Steel, Compact and Stylish by David Stewart

I love these step kits (with just a little tweak)!

I bought luggage bins because I needed tight fitting lids as my dogs were fascinated by regular bins without lids. I found these simple human 1.2 gallon compact nozzles with caps at a great price so read the reviews to see if they were worth the price. Almost all reviewers were very happy with them, however many complained that they tip over too easily because they are very light. Since they obviously needed more weight and balance at the bottom of the cans, I decided to find the perfect solution. After looking around at home for something suitable and couldn't find anything, I considered putting magnets or something like that under the plastic liner of the jar, which is small in diameter and light in weight, and whatever it is, it has to be thin enough otherwise the lid would not close. To the right. Finding this fix was no easy task! Eventually barbells come to mind, smaller lighter weights and voila! I found this! The "fix" that works for me is the 2.5-pound Weider Hammertone Workout Plate, which fits perfectly on the round bottom of the jar and is thin enough not to interfere with the lid's opening and closing mechanism. They were on Ebay for $3 each and I got one for each plain human faucet in each of our bathrooms. The weights fit perfectly in every way and have never tipped over or even slipped! Open and close lid every time. I am very happy with these steps and I have no complaints. I no longer have to politely remind our guests to PLEASE close the bathroom door when leaving the house and the best part is that I no longer had to clean up the disgusting trash everywhere and the doors now stay open unless they are of course occupied! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Š
