The price/warmth ratio of these socks is excellent. I've had several pairs over ten winters and while they claim to feel thin, they're still warmer than most new socks. This latest pair seems to be made the same way so I expect them to last just as long. I wear them with Keen waterproof non-insulated work boots and when I'm active outdoors they keep my feet warm down to around zero degrees. If the temperature is a little colder or I'm standing close by, I wear insulated boots to keep me warm all day.
