love these socks! in socks

I always forget how good and how much new socks cushion. I say that because they usually last a few months and I don't even notice them wearing out, but they do wear out gradually until I put on a new pair. Overall I like the large knit loop, good fit and I really mean it. I use these for shipping with Red Wing Hidden Toe Hard Boots and I would say nothing beats socks this good. I'm glad I found them when I was abroad and the quality is still just as good!

Excellent warmth for the price

The price/warmth ratio of these socks is excellent. I've had several pairs over ten winters and while they claim to feel thin, they're still warmer than most new socks. This latest pair seems to be made the same way so I expect them to last just as long. I wear them with Keen waterproof non-insulated work boots and when I'm active outdoors they keep my feet warm down to around zero degrees. If the temperature is a little colder or I'm standing close by, I wear insulated boots to keep me warm…

A little big but SO comfy! I believe the angels made these socks.

I put them on as soon as I got them (it started snowing a few hours after delivery) and it was like putting puppy paws on my feet! I showed them to all my family and they thought I was overreacting to these amazing socks but they just don't get it! Seriously, these are the best socks! I'm 5ft 9in and they come down to the bottom of my knee. The colored band at the top fits snugly on the lower leg but does not interfere with blood circulation. So far I have walked around the house and they have…

Not suitable for -26 degree weather

Bought for work but in HVAC you're always outside. Most of the time they keep my feet wonderfully warm, so much so that I don't even have to put them on until the temperature drops below 20 degrees. I don't have insulated boots (boots don't breathe at all) but they still make my feet sweat when it's not that cold. I recently wore them during a polar vortex with a -26 degree cold wind on the roof and my feet were numb/burned after 1.5 hours outdoors with a 15 minute break inside (3 hours total).

Shake it man, the best outdoor recreation

If I could give those 10 stars, I would. Just got home from a deer hunt and wore them all the time, I of course swapped them out for the same style Fox socks everyday. I have diabetes and neoplasia in my feet so I need really good socks and they fit perfectly. I have several styles of Fox socks and love them all but this is my first pair of wool blend socks and they are warm. I live in northern Minnesota and it's dangerously cold here so socks make up the bulk of my outfit and since I read the…

If only I knew about these socks

I found these socks at a hardware store, touched and wore them and was amazed at their texture and quality. I'm not used to living in northern countries or anywhere with snow, I google reviews like a fool. I didn't want to flaunt this brand otherwise it would be sold out by the time I needed it or the price would go up due to higher demand. But life is hard, especially the current market is shrinking. This company usually makes comfortable quality socks to help you get through the short winter…

  • Questionable purchase for seniors

I'm from the south and I've never been to the mountains in winter let alone exercise in the snow. Brought her to Utah for snowshoeing/hiking in Park City, snow tubing in Solder Hollow and sightseeing throughout the Wasatch Range. I couldn't be happier than with these socks. I put them on in the morning and pulled them up just below the knee. I weigh 260 pounds. human and have muscular and thick calves. Most of my black socks wear out after a year or so because the elastic doesn't hold up. To my
