Very stable on standing shelves
Assembly is easy once you've finished the floor. With just one person, it's a balancing act. After that the installation went without any problems. As for the plastic clips people mention, they don't actually "snap" together. There will be a small gap between the two pieces and they won't fit if you try to align them directly with the grooves in the bars. When you go between the grooves it connects easily and is very strong.
