Review on 🔧 BLACK+DECKER BDHT83001 Variety Spring by Drew Gengler

I really like the design of these clamps with rotating tips. It's much more effective at keeping things secure at odd angles. The design works well, although the tips themselves aren't very good. Just hard plastic and not very tough. I was able to change them by attaching some small pieces of bike inner tube with CA glue. The clamps are well made. I didn't notice any flaws in the plastic construction. The springs are strong enough that they have good holding capacity for a plastic clamp. The swivels work well and the swivel feels solid. My only other complaint is that the grips don't have rubber grips. So they are a bit difficult to understand. The plastic has a design that slightly improves "toughness". But some rubber grips would be better. All in all quite good clamps at a reasonable price. It's good to have different sizes on hand. Good holding power. Good build quality. I expect they will last a while with moderate use. I am very happy to add them to my clip collection.
