I really wish this system would work better for us! I loved the training table which helped a lot with my terriers' crazy barking. A tone, or at most a moderate vibration, and he stopped barking immediately. The wire is of very good quality and very strong. The caliber is so low you don't even have to dig it in. We did this and it was very easy and probably took about 2-3 hours to install everything on our 1/4 acre lot. The transmitter box was not of very good quality and broke when we tried to connect a cable to it. We called Extreme Dog Fence and they immediately sent a new one. The main reason I give it 1 star is because it turned out to be unusable. The collar beats randomly (no beep or vibration - static) no matter where our dog was in the containment area. He sat quietly on our couch and went into shock for no reason. I contacted Extreme Dog Fence and they did a great job with us to fix the issue but nothing worked in the end. However, the customer service has been really good throughout this process and they ended up replacing our system with the traditional containment system they sell but the learning remote was not compatible with that system. So I pull my hair out barking again, but I take it on myself because my dog is scared of our house.
