The premap is nice and easy to set up and use. After a few minutes all traffic lights turned green! Great. However, after rescanning I had ZERO local channels still operating on VHF frequencies! (Yes, there are still plenty of them, and they use a lower band than UHF!) If all the stations in your area operate on the UHF band, this might be the antenna to go for. However, by connecting my flimsy cheap $9.00 antenna from the discount store, the performance improved significantly. THIS is how the preamp works - the antenna itself is not very good.
