Bought mirror to help my aging eyes with my daily male shave. Having a similar wall mirror, I chose this model. I opted for a 10x model, which I later regretted. I find that the mirror magnification I've used before was 5-6x which was perfect for my needs. Unfortunately, the curvature of the glass to achieve 10x magnification results in a mirror with a very small viewing area. Since I mainly use the mirror for shaving, I quickly realized that I could only see my face if it was centered in front of it. When I turned my face slightly to the side, the curvature distortion prevented me from seeing my own face. So, men, if you want to use it to shave your entire face, this model is not for you.
