Review on OzCoolingParts 03 07 Ford F250 Radiator by Don Wilson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This will run on a 5.4 petrol engine with a little ingenuity.

Okay so yes this cooler will work with some minor modifications in a 5.4 liter 04 f250 heavy duty petrol engine, it's 2.5 inches taller and only has one inlet on the bottom instead of two like the factory cooler , so I steal a little . a flat bar to mount the top of the fan shroud, the bottom tabs snap in well but due to the top 2.5" mounting screws not matching up I screwed the flat bar to the factory screw holes and then attached it to dhrowd screw that holds it in place. alright, there is no offset on the sides where the fairing doesn't meet the radiator, but that's good, won't hurt it because not only is it 2.5 inches taller, it's about 1/2 inch wider, now it's 2.5 inches up, i removed the rubber grommets from the factory top mounts, cut and bent the c-channel and drilled holes for the rubber grommets, then drilled holes for the factory mounting bolt holes, that's good not bad, um To make braces takes only a little time, and the patients also cut into the already existing transmission. They are not compatible so I moved the factory threaded lugs up a bit and then used two short lengths of rubber tubing which I actually cut off from the overflow line to the tank as this cooler has a much shorter distance to connect and I have that clsmpd hose used to connect transmission lines. I didn't cut the ends of the transmission lines so I wouldn't risk getting medsl sutures in the lines and the extended lugs work like a good nipple to get a good seal.
