NO ODOR, GOOD SEAL, DURABLE PLASTIC
No time to talk. It's difficult to find plastic containers that don't contain strong gas by-products. They have no perceptible odor. The glass is made of fairly hard, durable plastic (PET, recycling category 1). The upper edge of the cup is flat and smooth, with no seams. The lid has very thin ribs around the perimeter that connect to the top edge of the cup and provide a very effective seal (it's a pretty neat design feature). For the minimal cost, they are worth it. I can now throw away Pyrex glass storage containers with crappy plastic lids that break after minimal use. QUALITY PRODUCT!
