I wanted to like this product but this compass doesn't work. When I turn left or right on my car, the compass does NOT move. When I do a 180 degree turn the compass moves although the compass directions are usually wrong when it stops. I suspect that the magnet in this compass is incredibly weak and not enough to move the compass ball in the right direction. I feel the need to break this compass to see if there is a magnet inside, but I just want my money back at this point. UPDATE: I noticed that the compass rotates more easily when the clear lightbulb is pointing up. I rotate my computer swivel chair in different directions and the compass rotates more easily and its accuracy is pretty good. In my opinion this compass should be mounted on the side with the clear bulb facing up, or remove the mount altogether and stick the sticker on the bottom of the compass directly onto the console. The bracket angle is awkward and I don't have room on my console to mount the bracket and still hold up the clear light bulb. I have already destroyed a sticker that was sent to me and I no longer want this product. Possibly 3 stars if they send a replacement sticker but I'm disappointed and just want my money back. don't make it clear A simple paper guide would be helpful.
