I am amazed at the quality of this 100% cotton thermal blanket. The duvet is made of cotton, so it will soften with use and washing. The size is very large for a 90" long hospital blanket. Although it is an open weave it feels very strong. It is light and airy and the openwork weave makes it the perfect summer blanket or bedspread. Photos do not show the full Extent of this comforter but the sides have about 6" of closed weave to give the comforter a little weight around you. It also has a fully closed center woven band that runs the full length of the comforter giving it strength. I've tried similar comforters for 10-15x the price of the ones that were junk and now I understand why hospitals use them.
