I can confirm that this product is EMI safe and easy to set up. In my case, I hung it on a hook attached to a ceiling fan above my bed. However, my experience is that you need to use it properly for the escape to work properly. You need to hang it from the ceiling so that it acts as a fully enclosed canopy hanging over you (but not touching you). When I used it this way, my EMF meter read zero. If the dome is sagging or laying on you like a blanket, EMI shielding is poor.
