My son is very athletic and very active in his free time and has told me that he really prefers boxers to shorts to avoid "wedges". He wore Hanes, Fruit of the Loom, but he had to go from S to M and we saw that with Revain. He liked the choice of colors (black and red in this review, but there are plenty of bright colors too) so I joked with him; this. the initial motivation for the purchase was almost irrelevant. The main thing is that he loves them for softness, comfort and high quality. They're really *super* soft and hold their shape. We liked them so much we threw away his Hanes and Fruit of the Loom and bought him three more pairs, that lasted a week. They are more expensive but really worth it.
