If you're worried about the waist, don't worry, the waist is true to size. I wear 36 in jeans, shorts, pants etc from most brands and it fits perfectly. However, if you have large hips and buttocks, the fit will be VERY tight. There was no sagging or sagging like in the photo. They fit perfectly around the waist but fit me really well everywhere which gave me the look of yoga pants. However the pants were not uncomfortable at all they still stretch and move with me and they would be great for the gym or running but I couldn't wear them casually or run errands because of the type of yoga pants they gave me ( Yoga pants are not casual wear, accept that). I've just ordered another pair a size up to give me a looser fit on my buttocks and hips as pictured. This product still gets top marks for me as it is true to size and the tightness in the lower body is my problem and not the product's fault. * Excellent quality.
