Worth the price and effort
After some problems with the focus of my DSLR, I started cleaning the sensor. The professional cleaning was a little pricey and they realized I had more issues than a dirty sensor (more $$$$). So I figured it was worth $6-7 to try - if it doesn't work, risk nothing - gain nothing. Well - it's like the camera is new - I liked them - they really improved the clarity - I have a 2008 camera. - I shoot a lot - and never cleaned. The mirror that was closed was much easier to clean.
