This is definitely not a diaper. When my 4 year old pees all the way through them his pants get wet. However, they work great if he just needs a little extra time to get to the potty. He peed in her, probably half a pee, and it didn't reach his pants. We also used them at night and it helped him remember to get up and go to the bathroom immediately. I've read reviews to shrink and order a size up. My son is a big kid and usually wears 5T clothes so I went for 6T. They haven't shrunk and I'd love to get 5T but they work and will work for a while. I washed them in the washing machine but then hung them out to dry without putting them in the dryer.
