This is a hit: Multi-channel amplifier

Delivered on time via Revain Shipping/Prime. The amplifier is well protected in the original packaging. The kit includes four mounting bolts/washers, an additional 25A fuse and a Lanzar/Pyle manual/literature. This is a two channel stereo amplifier but it can be driven up to 4 ohms. It can handle up to 2 ohms of left and right speaker channels. It has a fixed (non-adjustable) high-pass (treble) crossover and an adjustable (adjustable) low-pass (bass) crossover. In addition, it has variable bass adjustment and gain control. I have an amp bridged with a couple of these: Planet Audio DVC 4 Ohm AC10D 10" Subwoofer. I connected a couple of the subwoofers listed above in series (each speaker plugged into 8 ohms) giving a 4 ohm load for a bridge amp. They sound good after some bass/gain/crossover tweaks. I set the amp to LP (bass only) and hooked up a second amp to the outputs of the Lanzar/Pyle amp which has two tweeters Why I deducted two stars: 1- The amp will only produce 1000 watts into 4 ohms in bridge mode if struck by lightning 2- ***A DANGEROUS design flaw There are ventilation holes on the underside of this amp for Heat dissipation; However, placing the amp on a hard flat surface will block them ALL. This can cause the amp to heat up very quickly! This poses a fire hazard and also shortens d the lifespan of the amplifier is considerable. I had four 1/2 inch thick toughened plastic spacers left over from the HDTV wall mount kit that I placed under the amp between the amp and the mounting surface to prevent blocking the vents. Also, I installed a 135mm computer power supply fan on this amp. 3- No adjustable high pass crossover setting (fixed). I strongly encourage you to read the second complaint above before considering purchasing this amp. If you're looking for an amplifier to drive low to mid-range powered subwoofers/woofers and want to make sure you can control HEAT, then this is the option for you. For my needs, that's a guard, but hardly.
