So let's be honest. These shoes cost $30, so don't expect much. They have the nice finishing touches you would expect from a moderately upscale brand like contrast patterned fabric on the inside of the upper and some jute rope detailing on the side panel giving them a slight espadrille look good for summer. I usually wear size 9 (or 42EU) but I had to order half a size up (9.5/42.5). Even at a half size, they still cut the top of my heel when I first put them on to walk my dog. While many loafers (like Vans) have a soft hem on the back of the upper, they simply have a flat seam where the inner lining is sewn to the outer fabric. The insole is moderately cushioned but still thin. They're light and probably won't stand up to heavy use, but for everyday wear that can be worn a few times in the summer, they should be fine. TL; DR: They're cheap. They look good but have questionable durability. You may need to order half a size larger than usual.
